What personal data we collect when you enquire about or book First Hire, why, who else sees it, and the rights you have over it.

Buckswell Holdings Limited, trading as Contigi, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and through booking First Hire. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13137887, at Enterprise House, 1st Floor, 2 The Crest, London NW4 2HN.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB244180. You can verify this on the ICO's public register at ico.org.uk.
For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights in section 6, contact us at eldi@buckswell.co.uk.
When you enquire or book a call or a setup day, we collect your name, email address, phone number and anything else you choose to tell us, such as what you are stuck on. We use this to arrange, prepare for and deliver your session. Our lawful basis is taking steps towards, and performing, a contract with you.
Bookings are taken through Google Calendar's own booking page, under our Google account. Google processes your name, email and chosen time slot to make that booking; see Google's own privacy policy for how they handle it.
We do not run our own database of client business data. During your setup day we see the information you choose to share with your assistant, but that information is stored in your own Google, Anthropic and GitHub accounts, not on any system Contigi operates.
If you buy a package, we keep a record of the purchase - what you bought, when, and the amount - for our own accounting and to meet our legal obligations to HMRC.
If you email, message or WhatsApp us, we keep that correspondence to answer you and for our own records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We use a small number of third parties to run our business and deliver First Hire:
We share data with these providers only as needed to run our business, and we do not control what a third-party AI provider does with data you put into your own account with them.
Booking and enquiry details are held in our Google account, which stores data on Google's own global infrastructure. Payment and accounting records are kept for 6 years, which is the period HMRC requires. Enquiry and support emails are kept for 2 years. We do not hold a copy of your business data beyond this, because it lives in your own accounts.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email eldi@buckswell.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal data we do hold, including limiting who can see it and using reputable providers for booking and email. Because your business data itself lives in your own accounts rather than ours, the biggest safeguard is architectural: there is far less of your data on our systems to protect in the first place.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever put your rights at risk, we would tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office as the law requires.
First Hire is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and, where the change is significant, tell you directly if we can.
